I'm Julia Aminzadeh, a UNC-Chapel Hill alumna with a Bachelor's in Media and Journalism, currently working as a Hospitality Coordinator and Creative Assistant at the iconic 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. I’ve always been drawn to the energy of live events, whether it’s a sold-out concert, a buzzy brand activation, or a packed sports arena. My work blends creativity and logistics, and I’m especially passionate about the intersection of music, event management, brand partnerships, and sports entertainment.
When I’m not at a show or backstage, you’ll find me traveling on a whim, hitting up local trivia nights, completing jigsaw puzzles, or hanging out with my senior dog. My love for entertainment and fan culture started early—when I was 12, I ran multiple fan accounts for One Direction on Instagram and Twitter, amassing thousands of followers (a big deal back in 2013 for a middle schooler!). That early curiosity about how social media builds communities and brands led me to pursue a career where storytelling, creativity, and entertainment collide.
At I.M.P., I’ve collaborated with both the Marketing and Creative teams, sharpening my copywriting, design, and project management skills. On the Hospitality side, I work across multiple venues, ensuring a seamless and exciting experience for artists and fans alike.
With hands-on experience in both front-of-house and back-of-house roles, I’ve developed a 360° view of the live entertainment industry. My goal is to break into music festivals and sports entertainment, focusing on branding, event management, sponsorships, and creative partnerships that elevate the fan experience and bring iconic moments to life.
